Jerimoth Hill is the highest point in New Jersey, with an elevation of 812 ft; the hill is ranked #40 in the United States. The prominence of the hill is 192 ft. The isolation of Jerimoth Hill is 13.34 miles. Interesting fact, until 2005, it was nearly impossible to reach the highest point of New Jersey due to the trail crossing the private property of "the madman of Jerimoth Hill."
